A few years ago I discovered one of the most magical flower gardens that I've ever visited. Every kind of rose grows alongside potted geraniums under the palm-filtered sun. There are places you go where you feel your life change. Maybe it stems from my Bohemian Great-grandmother but I have lived in a lot of cities. Some of these so dear to me that I consider them hometowns. The first time I exited the coastal highway to Montecito I knew I had found my next hometown.
There are two things you can count on from any great latte. Warm foamy goodness to fill your belly and a caffeine pick-me-up to start your day. For about five years I've been drinking this cup of scrumptious wellness every morning (okay, let's be honest, three cups every morning) because it does more than just wake me up and make me me happy.
Pair this with a dry, crisp white wine like my new Rhône White Blend from Montecito Wine Company. The spicy salami hits the briny olives and with the light acid from the wine the flavors just dance.
Those who know Ladurée will tell you there is no better place for Parisian wanderlust than a visit to one of their colorful pâtisseries. Founded in 1862, the bakery famous for inventing the instagram worthy double-decker macaron is now open in cities all over the world, including West Hollywood.
